ModelScope, which was first introduced in mainland China in 2022, has quickly become the country's largest AI model community, attracting over five million developer users. Since its first advent, it’s been widely compared to services such as Amazon Web Services' Bedrock or Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Studio.
All of them are considered to possess a wide range of foundation models from numerous sources, presented in a format in order to simplify integrating them into applications built on their specific cloud platforms.
Features of the English Version of ModelScope
The English version of ModelScope offers a comprehensive suite of tools and resources that support developers in bringing their AI projects to life.
It provides access to over 5,000 advanced AI models, including models contributed by users, creating an AI development collaborative environment. Developers can also benefit from more than 1,500 top-notch Chinese-language datasets and a variety of toolkits for data processing.
Additionally, the platform offers various modules that allow developers to customize model inference, training, and evaluation with minimal coding requirements.
Alibaba's Presence at The 2024 CVPR Conference
During the 2024 Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) Conference in Seattle, which brings together academics, researchers, and business leaders, Alibaba Cloud made a significant announcement regarding the English version of ModelScope.
